Lagoon Living Tip for the Day:
Watch the Seasons Change Along the Lagoon
One of the joys of living on the Treasure Coast is realizing the lagoon is never the same from month to month.
Throughout the year you'll notice:
- Different migratory birds arriving and departing
- Seasonal fish movements
- Changing water clarity
- Blooming native plants
- Manatees seeking warmer waters in cooler months
- Ospreys building and tending their nests in spring
Keeping a simple journal or taking a photo from the same spot every month is a fun way to appreciate just how dynamic the Indian River Lagoon really is.
🎣 Fishing Activity & Wildlife Sightings
Pretty quiet this AM. Bait fish are busy and 1 pelican is adjusting to the warming day.

🏡 Sebastian & Vero Real Estate Suggestion of The Day
A Home Inspection Is More Than a Pass or Fail
Many buyers think of the home inspection as a test the house either passes or fails. In reality, it's one of your best opportunities to learn how the home works.
Pay close attention to:
- The age and condition of the roof
- HVAC maintenance history
- Water heater age
- Plumbing shut-off locations
- Electrical panel and safety features
- Signs of moisture around windows, doors, and the attic
Even a well-maintained home will have items that need attention. A good inspection gives you a roadmap for future maintenance and can help you prioritize repairs after you move in.
